Emerald Lake Park in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges is one of our favourite spots for a relaxed lead-up to the ceremony, and it delivered perfect weather for Aaron and Ann. Just an hour from Melbourne, the park’s towering mountain ash, quiet lake and open lawns give a couple plenty of room to breathe for wedding photography
We spent a few hours in the morning walking the lake path with Aaron and Ann, letting the light through the trees do most of the work. Nothing too posed, just a chilled stroll, a few laughs, and some quiet moments together prior to them taking off to get officially married at the Marriage Registry on Spring Street.
With a stunning and calm location like Emerald Lake, Aaron and Ann were calm and comfortable in front of the camera, completely unphased for the day ahead. Proof that a bit of time in a beautiful setting before the ‘I do’s’ makes for a far more relaxed wedding day all round.
